Welcome
to the Trib Lots to tell you about this month. Our Free Full Membership trial is still available and has been most successful so far. With Sparkle just around the corner, we have had some Trannyweb t-shirts printed which we hope you will wear if you are going along. Even if you're not going to Sparkle, please buy one anyway and wear it around the house or at our next social gathering. On the subject of gatherings, we have several more social functions going on this month, both online and in the flesh and I'm particularly pleased about the advent of our new online cheese and wine parties. They were very big in suburbia in the 1960's and 70's but now Trannyweb gives the humble cheese and wine party a new lease of life. There's more on this below. Our Trannyweb USA local Chapters have been given homes of their own this month. Gloria Glover has been busy setting up a dedicated Trannyweb Club for every US state. Now all we need are some people to run each one. If you fancy having a go at being in charge of your own Trannyweb Local Chapter for your state, please contact Gloria Glover at Trannyweb USA. Also, if you'd like to join your local group, just click here. Maryanne, Justine and Sophia, our UK social committee, have been busy organising various events and we actually have several evenings out this month, which coincide nicely with Sparkle. We are still looking for more people to organise local events and meets in places other than Manchester, UK. So if you live in Sydney or New York, or anywhere in between and you'd like to help organise a Trannyweb night out in your area, or if you'd just like to join the committee to help out generally, please let me know. We will soon have a new chat room for you to play with. Our current room has been in place for nearly two years and a lot has happened in that time so we've decided that the time is right now, for us to move on to a more feature rich chat room. There will be more on this in the next issue. Please do also check out our new FAQ's pages, which not only attempt to answer many of the questions you often ask about Trannyweb, but also invite you to post questions of your own. Finally, we want to remind all of our Full Members about the various features that are there for them to use, like our TrannyPix photo galleries, Trannymail and our Membersearch tool. It's all there for you to use so please make the most of all that Trannyweb has to offer. As you read through The Tranny Tribune, you'll probably notice lots of appeals for help in different areas. New Cheese and Wine Evenings
We've tried these evenings a few times and they have proved very popular with the girls who joined in. We're hoping we can hold one of these "virtual" parties each month, or once a fortnight, depending on the response. We're already looking at Sunday 16th for our July party. It's a cheap and easy way to allow our girls to get chatting in a friendly and, hopefully, party-like atmosphere (well, the wine helps there!! lol). Just bring yourself, some cheese and some wine. Next Trannyweb UK Girly Gathering... There are two Trannyweb Girly Nites Out this month, the first of which takes place on Friday 23rd June. It's our Trannyweb Dinner Night out at Sparkle (book early to avoid disappointment) and on Saturday 24th we'll be holding a regular Trannyweb Girly Night Out taking in the sights and sampling the atmosphere of Canal Street. Both events will take place in the Manchester Village and we do not charge any fees. New MemberSearch Features
We have recently added two important features to our very popular MemberSearch facility which is available only to Trannyweb Full Members. Now when you search for members near you, you can specify that the results will only contain member's who have posted a profile photo. Also, our search results are now sorted by last login date with the most recent first so you won't get heaps of old records from users who haven't been around lately. Got Your Trannyweb Toolbar yet? Gender feels like a very strange thing to me. On the one hand, it is like a spectrum. Like a spectrum of colours, male at one end, female at the other. Most people I know don’t actually live at the ends, where everything is completely cut and dried: everyone has bits of female colour, if they’re mostly male, or bits of male colour, if they’re mostly female.
