to the Trib Sorry we're a bit late publishing this month. The last 30 days have been ever so busy for me. I have been away for some of the time because I've been appearing in a new movie (yes, a proper grown-up movie) as an extra (sorry, that should be background artiste). I'll bring you more on this as and when I can but suffice to say that you will most definitely have heard of many of the actors who are appearing in it. Little do they know when we are in a scene together that I am really the famous Katie Glover of Trannyweb fame! We have a new promotion running this month in an effort to drag our basic members kicking and screaming to Full Membership status. Another useful development this month, which may interest our UK members is the formation of our first Social Committee. Organising monthly outings was quite a task for one person, so Christina Dearlove, who has done a sterling job for some time, has stepped aside and into her shoes steps the new TW UK Social Committee. That consists of Maryanne Talmadge, Sophia Parry and Justine Cairns but we are looking for more people to organise local events and meets in places other than Manchester. So if you live in Edinburgh or Hastings, or anywhere in between and you'd like to help organise a Trannyweb night out in your area, or if you'd just like to join the committee to help out generally, please let me know. Authoress and Girl Talk magazine's advice columnist, Alice Novic, is our Celebrity interviewee this month. We're gearing up for Sparkle and hoping to have some t-shirts made in time for you to wear. Trannyweb USA Spring Night Out  Our
Spring Trannyweb Girls Night Out will be held on
May 6th at the Hippo on West Eager Street in downtown
Baltimore, Maryland.
Our last trip to The Hippo was a wonderful experience which was enjoyed by all. We hope that many of you will join us on this occasion for a fun time and a chance to meet other Trannyweb USA members. Next Trannyweb UK Girly Gathering... The next Trannyweb Girly Nite Out takes place on Saturday May 6th (as does our USA gathering). There is still just time to drop Maryanne Talmadge a line if you'd like to attend. We also have a couple of Trannyweb Girly Nights Out planned for June, to coincide with Sparkle. On Friday 23rd June it's our Trannyweb Dinner Night out at Sparkle (book early to avoid disappointment) and on Saturday 24th we'll be holding a regular Trannyweb Girly Night Out taking in the sights and sampling the atmosphere of Canal Street. Both events will take place in the Manchester Village and we do not charge any fees. KG: Alice, I must admit that when I picked up your paperback, I was fascinated from the start. What brought you to write such a thing?
