Welcome
to the Trib It's been a funny month marked by various "hissy fits" in the forums and people having tantrums in the chat rooms. Trannyweb is usually a placid, friendly and fun place so it's been a surprisingly rocky time. I hope that we've all learnt some lessons though, and that things are now back to normal. There's still a chance to upgrade to Full Membership for HALF THE NORMAL PRICE as long as you do so before Monday (3rd) when our half price sale ends. This is a genuine bargain with no strings attached. We are simply trying to increase the number of Full Members on the site. Up to now The Tranny Tribune has been a newsletter for Trannyweb members, designed to bring them up to date with the latest happenings in our community. However, we've recently been thinking about including some tranny news stories from around the world. What do you think - is that a good idea? In future we may also only send you a reminder when The Trib has been published each month, with a link to the magazine. That would save us ever such a lot of work because sending the whole publication by email to more than 30,000 members takes us about three days. Would you click the link to read it though or would you prefer it to arrive in your inbox in its entirety? You are the experts which is why we always ask you what you want. Ten of our USA Members have won a copy of Beautiful Boxer on DVD this month. They are listed below and deserve a round of applause. In this issue there's a chance to become famous on TV if you live in the UK and a story about a tranny who already has. The Trannyweb archeological department has recently discovered some ancient information that points to the age of our community - something we didn't actually know before. New carbon dating techniques have also helped us to determine our actual birthday, which means we now have something to celebrate later in the year. Trannyweb's birthday Until recently
we could
never quite remember exactly when we started Trannyweb
- only that it was some time in 1999.
However, Amazon.com's Alexa web site has come to the rescue as they include that information in their site information pages. They say Trannyweb has been, "Online Since: 16-Dec-1999". Therefore it'll be our 7th birthday in the middle of December. So, shall we do something to mark the occasion? Party anyone? All ideas will be much appreciated. For all your printing needs...

Ideally we would like to have at least one local chapter for each state and for some of the larger states, perhaps two or more local chapters. Therefore, we are now looking for members who are interested in volunteering to run their own groups locally. The job would mainly involve organizing social gatherings and meetings. 609-3038. Nadia Accused Of Being A Slapper
She allegedly slapped Richard Oliver, in The Garden pub in Islington, London, back in January. Twenty nine year old Nadia appeared wearing a white pencil skirt with a black shirt and jacket at Highbury Magistrates' Court in north London. She pleaded not guilty to common assault and was bailed for trial in June. If found guilty, Nadia could be jailed for six months. Nadia won the hearts of the nation in 2004 when she became the first transsexual person to appear in Big Brother. She avoided eviction after eviction and eventually went on to become the winner of the 2004 series. Born a boy in Portugal, she struggled for many years with her sexuality as Jorge, before changing sex and becoming Nadia.
