Welcome
to the Trib In this issue we are exploring the possibility of running an amazing event for our members. The idea is to give you the opportunity to live as a woman for two whole weeks! It would be a cross between television's Big Brother and a tranny vacation and it would be aimed at those who have been out dressed before and who want to see what it would be like to live as a woman full time - well just for a couple of weeks to start with. There more on this to the right. Our Celebrity Interview this month, features tranny authoress, Tina B, who's steamy novel, "The Evolution of Lisa", was published recently. Gloria Glover, no relation but a dear friend, who heads up Trannyweb USA, writes about our new local Trannyweb groups around the US. If you'd like to start one in your town or city, please let us know and we'll try to help the process along. The idea is to get us all together. There is no need to be a solitary tranny in this day and age and you really can't have too many friends. If we have enough support for our local groups, perhaps we'll put together a big meeting for everyone later in the year. And you don't have to live in the US to start a local group. Let’s try to get our local chapters going this year. Start a thread in the Trannyweb USA Forums for your area and we'll see if we can get things moving. It's as simple as having a party and letting people know where it is. 2006 is the year of Trannyweb. Let’s make it the best Tranny Year ever. This is really what Trannyweb is all about - bringing people together. Take that final step over the threshold between the virtual and the real. KG: What gave you the ideas for the various storylines that appear in "The Evolution of Lisa"? TB: Not really sure. I suppose that after looking around the web and other fiction stories I thought I would like to have a go at writing one.
The ideas came from perhaps, hidden desires and wishes I have – not too sure about that one. Perhaps I have the desire to have the things which happen to Lisa happen to me but first of all she is much younger than me and also she is much more outgoing and obviously passes well. KG: Is any aspect of the book autobiographical? Have you based any of the scenarios on your own experiences as a TG person TB: I suppose that some of the feelings related in wearing the clothing and being out ‘dressed’ have to come from my own experiences. I have no experience of being out with a man or having sex as described. This is just fantasy, although I have tried to add feeling and emotion into the writing. KG: "The Evolution of Lisa" contains 55 pictures of the lady on the cover. Who is she? For all your printing needs...

CHANCE TO BE A GIRL FOR TWO WEEKS! by Katie Glover
Most of us here at Trannyweb want to be female. That's probably why you are a member. However, it's simply not practical for many of us to actually change sex because of family and career commitments or perhaps just because we do not want to go all the way. Some of us may feel inside that we want to but we are not entirely sure. Well, it's been suggested to me that Trannyweb should organise and offer our members a chance to experience what it is like being a girl for two weeks. The opportunity to live life as a woman for 14 days and nights. For those who are thinking of transitioning this could be a useful first step, before doing anything that is not reversible later if you discover it's not for you. For those who have families and careers that take first place, it could be just an opportunity experience being a girl before reverting back to Drabsville.
Upon arrival you would hand over your drab clothes for safe-keeping and be given a girly make-over because from the moment you enter the house, you would be treated as a girl and would be expected to dress as a female immediately. We would charge no more than the normal nightly rate for a good hotel but unlike a hotel the price would include your meals, drinks in the house, and the following:
Unlike the big brother people, we would also have regular trips out of the house for shopping and entertainment - en femme of course! Cinderella Story, Kind Of... Of course, when he does such things, that is when I call him my "wife's dog." MY dog would never do such a thing. Anyway, back to the slippers. Slippers are the stuff of Cinderella and fantasy in one popular view. TV/TG/TS/WhatEver (herein after referred to as WE) can all relate to slippers, but most never seem to wear them. They are "too much like what my mother wore." They are the stuff of housewives and housecoats and hair curlers and far, far from glamorous, right? What self-respecting TV would go out without the proper heels? |

so glad that the holidays are behind us now as that is such a busy
