Welcome
to The Trib As you can see from the column to the right, we have several new experts joining us this month, who will be able to give more qualified advice on subjects like Facial Feminization Surgery. If you fancy being a Chat Monitor, we need more tranny chat people to join our existing happy little band of monitors. If you'd like to have a go, please drop me a line. We seem to eat up servers and are now once again in need of a larger machine. To this end we have been saving up and hope to be moving to a new super server in the next week or two. Unfortunately, the move will cause some disruption for a day or two but once it's all done we should be faster than ever before. Our Anglo-American evening in Manchester, UK on the 29th October was a great success. Thanks to all who came along. there are several pictures going around the forums right now. If you live in the UK, there's another opportunity for you put on your best frock and heels later this month when we take over a hotel in Torquay, Devon. There's more on this below. For example, we are now asking you for your phone numbers following an incident recently when a member alerted us to the fact that she desperately needed help and hugs but did not think of giving us any way of contacting her. We all felt very helpless, knowing that we were unable to give her the help she wanted so badly. So now we have included two phone number fields which you can fill out if you want. They will only be used by Trannyweb staff in the event of an emergency or if we need to contact you urgently and they will not be shown anywhere on the community site. The same goes for our new address field. Various other questions have been added to your extended profile, which will help us to tailor your Trannyweb experience in the future. Please go and fill them out now (if you want). All information you give us will be held in the strictest confidence. One of our very, very first members, Sue James, has offered to put together a girly night out for our girls in the South-West of the UK, who have not been catered for so far. Sue joined us way back when our membership system first went live in 2001. She is member number 26 out of more than 28000. She lives in Devon, England, and has persuaded the owner of a hotel in Torquay (not Fawlty Towers) to let Trannyweb take it over for one night - Saturday 26th November. There will be a meal and an option to go night-clubbing it later. As usual there is no charge (although you will have to pay for your meal, drinks, club entrance fees if you go dancing and your hotel room if you decide to stay over). TW Chat room hostess, Maryanne Talmadge, put on a truly spectacular
event on 29th October when she and her posse of chat room girls spent
the evening in the famous Canal Street, in Manchester, UK. The theme
appears to have been Halloween.
Among the revelers were those Crabtown Girls from the US, Gloria Glover and Robyn Webb, who spent a whole week in England visiting their Trannyweb UK friends. FFS FORUM AND EXPERT MODS
Dr. Jeffrey Spiegel is an assistant professor in the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Department of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at the Boston University School of Medicine. He will be joining us here at Trannyweb to provide properly qualified medical advice in a new forum for our Full Members on Facial Feminization Surgery.
Yvonne Cook-Riley, who is generally considered to be the founder of the Transgender Movement in the US has joined us in our political forum, endearingly named The Polly Ticks Forum. We also have a new moderator in our Significant Other's Forum. The lovely Miss Gillian Dundas, who is a real SO herself, will be hosting the forum and helping to answer your questions.
