to The Trib As we continue our transition to our new look there are plenty of other things going on in Trannyland too. There's a 10% discount from Glamour Boutique this month, for Trannyweb members. Just click on their ad below to get yours. Fancy being a Chat Monitor? We need more tranny chat people to join our existing happy little band of monitors. If you'd like to have a go, please drop me a line. We're also still looking for writers to contribute articles on tranny subjects. If you fancy writing an article for the Trannyweb Transgender Library, again just drop me a line and I'll tell you how it's done. The new Trannyweb Toolbar has proved to be quite a success with hundreds downloaded so far. It's packed with features and it's free to all Trannyweb Members. It's still available so please download yours now. Once again our costs are rising beyond our income and so, with projects like moving to a new SCSI server on the horizon, we have no alternative but to increase the cost of new membership subscriptions. Please be aware however, that this will NOT affect existing subs, so if you already have one, it will continue at the same price. There's more on this to the right. In this issue there's also more on our girly nights out which have been going on around the world recently. Christina Dearlove offers another opportunity for our British members to party with our umpteenth visit to Canal Street in Manchester. That's on the 22nd October. Also, TW Chat room hostess Maryanne Talmadge is putting together yet another trip to Canal Street on 29th October so please do drop her a line if you'd like to go along. We're hoping to see some of our Trannyweb girls from the US at that event too! Of course, all of our girls are welcome to go along to any of our events and there is no fee. As usual, let us ask you to contact Katie if you'd like to organise a TW Girly Night Out in your town or city. It doesn't have to be in the US or UK. Anywhere in the world will do. you access TW from your library? We have always tried to keep the site clean and above board so we are now actively contacting the libraries concerned to ask to have the bar lifted. In most cases our requests are being honoured. It's important that TW remains accessible to those who may not be able to afford a computer of their own so if you know of a library or other institution that bars users from accessing the site, please do let us know and we'll ask them not to. Also, we would ask you to keep an eye out for member's profile pictures that could be thought of as inappropriate. While we don't want to come across as prudes, TW has had problems before after being erroneously labeled as an adult site. As you know, we certainly are not and indeed, the fact that we deliberately no not operate any kind of age restriction makes it even more important to keep obscene pictures off the site. LAST
CHANCE TO BEAT THE RISE
 To
meet rising costs we will have no alternative but to increase the
amount we charge for Full Membership on October 10th.
However, the new prices will only apply to new subscriptions taken out after the rise is implemented, so there's still time to become a Full Member now at the old rate, and the amount you pay won't change in future. If you have been thinking about becoming a Trannyweb Full Member, now is the time. If you start your subscription now, it will continue at the old price for as long as you keep it. The new tariff will take effect on October 10th and both the old and new prices are shown below for comparison.
As you can see, it will be well worth upgrading now as you'll make quite a saving. To upgrade to Full Membership at the old prices, please click here now and beat the rise.

Monitors Needed However, they can't be there all the time and there are some parts of the day when no monitors are present. Therefore, we've decided to make an appeal for some new volunteer chat monitors to help run our TrannyChat chat room over the coming months. We're especially keen to hear from California girls and members from the South Pacific region (Australian, New Zealand). If you like chatting and would like to have a go, please contact Katie here.

come to our attention recently, that a number
of public libraries are preventing users from
accessing Trannyweb because they seem to think
that we are some kind of unsavoury web site.
As
you probably know, Trannyweb has a small but happy band of chat
monitors who's simple goal in life is to keep our chat rooms
friendly and keep our chatters chatting.
