The UK has been in the news a lot recently and in this issue we were hoping to be able to congratulate our London members on getting the 2012 Olympics on Wednesday. However, while congratulations are still in order, it doesn't seem right to celebrate with them just yet, following the terrible terrorist attacks on London just a day later. There's more on this below right. The big news from Trannyweb this month is that basic listing fees have been scrapped at TrannyBay, our transgender marketplace, so now you can place auctions for free. We do need your support though, if we are to keep Trannybay going, so please do come along and have a look for some girly bargains. If you have any girly clothes you can no longer fit into, please don't throw them out. Put them on Trannybay and make some money. You'll also be helping to keep this resource going. Our next Trannyweb Girly Night Out takes place in Kingston upon Hull in the UK on Saturday 16th July. The UK seems to be storming ahead of the US and the rest of the world when it comes to social nights out. There are two more currently being planned for August and September in London and Brighton. As always, if you are wondering why there hasn't been a girly night out in Chicago, Auckland, Berlin or your home town, why not offer to org anise one? Just drop me a line. If you use the Trannyweb facilities and benefit from our existence, please do consider putting something back by becoming a Full Member. You will get a lot more from your Trannyweb experience and will help us to keep the wolf from the door. Full Membership costs less than the price of half of one cigarette per day - a miniscule price to pay to keep this valuable resource alive. Please take a look at our Full Membership options now by clicking here. Hugs, Katie xxxx The BreastForm Store - dedicated to the Transgender and Crossdressing community. We have the lowest prices for silicone breast forms anywhere on the net! Trannyweb Sponsors Miss TG Brighton 2005
Once again this year, there's fun to be had in Sussex by the sea as a new Miss TG Brighton is crowned. For the second year running Trannyweb is proud to be involved with advertising the affair and we hope that as many of our girls as possible will be able to attend. Guest of Honour is Actor Richard O'Brien and it's all for a good cause too with proceeds going to The Martletts' Hospice and The Sussex Beacon. There's more information on the Miss TG Brighton web site at www.misstg.co.uk. |
Katie in print across north west America
Trannyweb's Katie Glover is now hugely famous in the northwest US, having just written a little article on what it is like to be a transgendered person for Seattle based Redefine magazine. She was only allowed 250 words (although she went a little over) to try to get the transgender message across to the young people of Washington and beyond. You can see the article for yourself in Redefine's internet version of the magazine by clicking the link below. |

| UK Members Trannyweb Girly Night Out in Hull
It's taking place on Saturday the 16th July and it's being organised by Michelle and John who run Salon SI on Southcoates Lane in Hull. The girls will be going to the Fuel Nightclub after a reception party at the salon. If you'd like to attend the reception party there's a charge of £25 per person which includes the reception, your transport to the club and back and your entry fee to the club. You will also not have to stand in line outside waiting to buy a ticket. You can get changed at the salon and also have an optional make-over. If you'd like to go please contact Michelle and John now by emailing them at: We do need to know who's coming very soon so please do let us know that you want to come right now. What
on earth is Whooz?
You may have seen a small box at the bottom of the Trannyweb pages recently, with the word "Whooz" on it. It's actually a little Java applet which is used by our new arrival, Hubz. Hubz will turn the Trannyweb site into a huge walkie talkie allowing everyone to see in real time, who else is online and where on the site they are. You'll be able to double-click a member's name to contact them and open a live instant messaging session. As it's made by the same people, Hubz also works in tandem with our Digi-chat chat rooms. However, the long awaited Hubz has not been integrated with our membership database yet so it doesn't know who anybody is. It refers to everyone on the site as Guest1234 or suchlike. We'll have to wait for our programmer, Eric, to return from his well earned vacation in a couple of weeks time before we can hope to get Hubz integrated. Anyway, it's coming soon and we hope it will give Trannyweb a more active feel. We don't want to be a passive web site. We want to be a community that's live, here and now! |

We're sorry if you received The Trib by mistake. The Tranny Tribune is sent only to registered members of the Trannyweb Community. The most frequent reason for receiving The Trib by mistake is when friends or colleagues register you as a prank. There is really no point sending our newsletter to people who don't want it. If you never want to receive The Tranny Tribune again please click this link to send a blank email to trib@trannyweb.tv with 'Please don't send the Trib again' as the subject, from the email address at which you received it. This is an automatic process, so please ensure you send your request to the correct address (ie:trib@trannyweb.tv) with with 'Please don't send the Trib again' in the subject field. Only the email address you send your request from, will be taken off the list. If you think you may have been registered by mistake (or more often as a prank by friends or colleagues), please let us know and we'll close your account immediately. |
