and welcome to the April 2003 edition of The Tranny Tribune,
the official organ of the Trannyweb community. Firstly let me
apologise if you have received this in error. The Trib is sent
automatically to each of our members. The most frequent reason
for receiving it by mistake is when friends or colleagues resister
you as a prank.
This situation helps nobody. If this is not your thing, we urge
you to unsubscribe using the instructions at the bottom of this
page.
In
this issue, you'll see a new format for The Trib, which we hope
is pleasing to the eye and more aesthetic than the old one.
We have also gone over to HTML, so we can utilize pictures as
well as just text, for while the pen is mightier than the sword,
a picture is worth a thousand words.
I
had hoped to send out this edition in February, but we've had
so many technical problems that I thought it best to let things
bed in a bit first. In case you haven't already heard, we now
have, at great personal expense, a brand new shiny server as
well as new software to run the community.
There's
been a lot of stuff about war in the forums recently. We also
have now have a political forum which is being moderated by
the lovely Stevie. There's been talk of setting up a real Trannyweb
community in a real place and with the switching on of our new
site, tons of bells and whistles we never had before.
All
of our existing members have been given the basic FREE level
of membership which gives you access to all the features of
Trannyweb that you enjoyed before. However, you can now benefit
from Trannyweb's new features by upgrading your membership to
a higher level.
Although
you have automatically been given a FREE membership,
we do urge you to upgrade to the highest level you can afford.
The next level of membership costs just $US19.99 per year and
give access to a heap of new features.
The
new software has cost us a fortune which we can ill afford.
Now we need you, our girls, to help us pay for it. We ask this
for the good of the community and as usual, every penny that
comes in, goes back into Trannyweb, making it one place in the
world where you know you will be free and able to be yourself,
without fear of scorn or retribution.

We've
been trying to think of ways of providing more income to pay
for the endless software tweaks and for a much needed new server
and associated bits. I think the way forward is to offer various
services that you can get just about anywhere but ask our membership
to use our offering rather than somebody else's.
For
example, we have introduced a Trannyweb
Hotel Room Booking System
in association with a hotel booking specialist. We've called
it  (see the panel to the right).
However,
rest assured that the names Trannyweb and TrannyTravel will
never be mentioned on your credit card statement, so you could
book rooms for your company conventions, sales conferences,
and so on (if that's what you do), or just a room for yourself,
without anybody else knowing the booking has anything to do
with Trannies.
Rather
than booking it through another agent, please do consider using
our system. We receive a small commission for every room booked
and that will help us pay the ever growing mountain of bills.
 It's finally here...
It's
taken years for us to save up for it, but at last our
new software is installed, customised and up and running.

If
you haven't seen me around the site for a while, it's
because I've been working flat-out on customising the
new Trannyweb - since the middle of last October! I
do hope you like it. It's cost a fortune in both money
terms and time and effort. If you were a member of the
old TrannyWeb, then your membership is automatically
transferred to the new one. You can access all the functions
you could with the old site (although
it's possible that we may have to put the Chat Rooms
into the first paid level soon, to discourage admirers
from hassling the girls).
Now
you can start your own Tranny Clubs and forums, chat
with the other girls, post pictures to the new galleries,
check the new personal ads section, check your mail
account, build your own tranny web site. You will also
now have your very own MyTrannyweb start page and now
you can not only see who's online, but where they are
on the site too.
Over
the coming months and weeks, we'll be adding many more
features and your continued support for our community
will be much appreciated. |
